Consider the Flowers...

Updated: Nov 6, 2019

I heard the quote for the first time years ago, “Worry is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but it won’t get you anywhere.”

In this season of unknowns and what if’s, I want to be someone who mirrors the flowers in Luke 12:25-27. These flowers don’t worry about the future. Instead, they simply rest in who God made them to be and trust that He will take care of everything else.

Luke 12:25-27 “And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his life? If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest? Consider the flowers, how they grow: they neither toil not spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arranged like one of these.”
